Surfers and sun worshippers are well catered for at our Burleigh Apartments. Just a short stroll from the resort, the sparkling shores of the Burleigh are the ideal place to swim, sunbathe, read, jog and stroll throughout the day. Build sandcastles with the kids, or check out the beach’s world famous surf breaks for yourself. Soak up the view as you enjoy a walk up to North Burleigh, and around the cliff face to South Nobby Beach. Those who are new to Australia’s favourite water sport, can treat themselves to some expert tuition for beginners with Burleigh Heads surfing via local surf school – you’ll be riding the waves in no time!
You can also enjoy a leisurely stroll around the headland via Burleigh Heads National Park, over to the calmer waters of Tallebudgera Creek. This is a favourite spot for younger swimmers, or those looking for a place to enjoy a SUP session over crystal clear turquoise waters. Keep following the path, and you'll find yourself at the Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
If you would rather keep your feet on dry land, set some time aside to explore the beautiful Burleigh Heads National Park, just a short walk from our resort. The iconic rocky headland is one of the most loved beauty spots on the Gold Coast and features two main walking tracks: the Ocean Circuit and the Rainforest Circuit. On warm summer days it’s common to see dragons basking in the sun on the rocks, while humpback whales are often glimpsed from Tumgun lookout during whale watch season. Don’t forget your camera and binoculars!
Enjoy a little retail therapy just opposite the beach, with lovely boutique shops to explore along James Street. For serious shoppers, head to Stockland West Burleigh shopping centre just a few minutes away. The art and craft markets along the beachfront, and The Village Markets at Burleigh Heads State School are also favourites, and the perfect spot to find momentos or gifts to bring home from your stay. If you've worked up an appetite, there are also a number of ocean view dining hotspots along the beach such as the Burleigh SLSC, Burleigh Pavilion, and Rick Shores opposite the Burleigh Beach Tourist Park.
If you crave more excitement and natural beauty, you can head to one of the other spectacular parks and walking trails in the Gold Coast hinterland. Mount Tambourine, Springbrook and Lamington can all be reached easily from our Burleigh Beach Apartments. The high rises of Surfers Paradise, a famous Gold Coast location, is just a short drive north of our accommodation.
Back at our resort, retreat to your private balcony or rooftop terrace and enjoy fresh ocean breezes and the last of the evening sunshine.
