SWELL 2023
SWELL Sculpture Festival is a multidisciplinary arts organisation based in Currumbin on Queensland's Gold Coast. The event has put on 873 sculptures at the principal show on Currumbin Beach since 2003 and has continued to forge links between people, art, and the setting.
The SWELL Sculpture Festival Gold Coast is still strong, with Currumbin Beach becoming a vast outdoor art exhibition. Modern sculptures by local, national, and international artists will be on display. The 2023 edition will feature 70 monumental modern sculptures plus pop-up installations. Also returning are The SWELL Smalls Gallery on the beach and the cultural activities at SWELL Fringe in Wallace Nicoll Park in Currumbin.
