The school holiday in April offers the perfect excuse to head to the coast, and by booking our Burleigh Beach apartments at Burleigh on the Beach, here are just a few exciting ways you can keep the whole family busy during your stay on the Gold Coast.

NaturallyGC

City of Gold Coast and its outdoor program NaturallyGC is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the environment and, at the same time, get hands-on with a variety of fun and educational activities for all ages. These will include Creatures of the Dark in Burleigh Heads on April 6, Junior Landcare Tree Planting in Tallebudgera on April 11, Wildlife Encounters in Burleigh Heads on April 13, Rocky Shore Explore in Burleigh Heads on April 14 and Koala Tree Planting in Tallebudgera on April 27. Get the kids involved!

Eco-Explorers

The Eco-Explorers School Holiday Program is inviting kids and parents to join in an array of outdoor workshops and activities this April. Each session will take place in the morning for two hours, and will involve learning about plants, butterfly identifying, tidal pool exploration, lizard spotting, water testing and feather collection. Don’t miss it in Currumbin near Burleigh on the Beach from April 8 to April 18.

2019 Gold Coast Running Festival

Enrol the whole family in the Gold Coast Running Festival for 2019, where there will be several distances that can be accomplished by all ages and capabilities. Taking place in Robina near Burleigh Heads, the various fun-runs will include 1km, 2.5km, 5km, 10km and the Half Marathon. Join in this fun-run under the sun on April 28.

All of these exciting family events will be taking place near Burleigh on the Beach, so make sure to book our fully self-contained Burleigh apartments.
