Gold Coast's Unique 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace

Since 2008, the 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace has represented Australian and international artists of various styles and genres. The range spans from urban and street art to pop art to expressionism and a plethora of other styles and genres. These are all enmeshed into one big white cube space in a converted warehouse tucked away in an industrial precinct. There is an extensive stockroom for private viewing located adjacent to the gallery.

This gallery is one of the Gold Coast’s most unique galleries as it curates diverse kinds of art and art styles.

19 Karen is located within a walking distance from Pacific Fair, which is one of the biggest shopping centres in the region. The artspace is located on 19 Karen Avenue, Mermaid Beach.

One of the exhibitions in the artspace is Bitter | Sweet. It is a joint project with beautiful izarre Magazine. It features a selection of over 25 international and Australian artists who have explored both the bitter and the sweet, the dark and the light, the love and the pain.

Its opening night will be on 18 March 2017 from 6-8pm.
