Volleyball Queensland Beach Schools Cup 2023
March 12 and 13
The lovely Coolangatta Beach will host the Volleyball Queensland Beach Schools Cup when the weather at Coolangatta Beach is at its best.
For over two days, schools across Queensland compete for the title of best beach volleyball team in the Beach Schools Cup. The Beach Schools Cup will draw participants from all regions, including North Queensland, down to South East Queensland, as this event is the only volleyball competition. The Beach Schools Cup divides its tournament into three divisions: Junior (Years 7 and 8), Intermediate (Years 9 and 10), and Senior (Years 12 and 13). (Years 11 and 12).
Volleyslam 2023
The stunning Coolangatta Beach in Queensland will host Volleyslam 2023. Three tournaments, including the Australian Championships, the Australian Youth Beach, and the Australian Beach Volleyball Schools Cup, will be held during this first event for ten days.
VolleySlam – Australian Beach Volleyball Tour Australian Championships
March 24 to 26
Get in on the beach volleyball super summer of 2023 as the Australian Championships for the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour (ABVT) visit Coolangatta from March 24 to 26. The ABVT is Australia's top-tier domestic beach volleyball competition. The tour draws the most outstanding athletes from Australia and accepts foreign wildcard entries while providing a show of exciting talent to the beach!
VolleySlam – Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships
March 27 to 30
The biggest youth competition on the Volleyball Australia calendar will also be in March. The Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships, a part of the first Gold Coast VolleySlam in 2023, will feature some of the top young players in the nation and offer lots of action on the sand.
From the Under 14s age group up to the Under 18s, teams from ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, and Victoria will compete on the sand for the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Champions and the President's Cup as the top-performing state.
VolleySlam – Australian Beach Volleyball Schools Cup
March 21 - April 2
Volleyball Australia owns and organises the Australian Beach Volleyball Schools' Cup (ABVSC), a new sporting competition in Australia that targets teams from all around the country and abroad. Any Australian school team or international school team may enter the tournament. All players for Australian teams must be members of the appropriate State Association. International teams who wish to compete must have their players registered with their National Volleyball Federation.
