Tugun Lights Up 2019
Tugun Village kickstarts Christmas on the Gold Coast with its annual Tugun Lights Up event. Head to Tugun near Burleigh for this spectacular festive display, which will also feature Christmas-themed market stalls, live carolling and a visit from Santa Claus for the kids.
The official lights-on will take place on Saturday November 30, with all decorations, market stalls and storefront displays to see and enjoy throughout December. Directly opposite Tugun Beach, Tugun Lights Up is the perfect family-friendly event if you’re looking to get in a cheery mood this Christmas.
Christmas Rhapsody
At the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, just a 10-minute drive north of Burleigh Heads, experience the perfect night out this December with Christmas Rhapsody - a festive music concert with all the biggest hits from the legendary Queen.
Starring Australia’s number-one tribute band, KillerQueen, this must-attend event is set to deliver an evening to remember with renowned Killer Queen frontman John Blunt who looks and sounds like Freddie Mercury himself. Coolangatta Christmas Carols
The big Coolangatta Christmas Carols is back this December with more family entertainment and live community carolling in Queen Elizabeth Park. One of the most popular annual Christmas events on the Gold Coast, Coolangatta Christmas Carols is a magical experience for all next to breathtaking Coolangatta Beach.
Before evening, expect food vendors, stalls and rides close by as well as a fantastic atmosphere before the carolling begins. This year at Coolangatta Christmas Carols 2019, Denis Walter will be performing live on stage, providing the ultimate opportunity to sing along to your favourite carols and festive songs. Coolangatta Christmas Carols is free to attend on Sunday December 15.
